It was a heavy weight day for the shoulder to overhead movement. Only 4 reps per round. Doesn’t sound so bad. Well, it can be bad when you are pushing more weight than you have ever done before.
Kristi Aho stuck with a plan and wasn’t pushed by time or the pace of her fellow CFitters and she did her rounds of 4 reps per round with 65lb. A FIRST!!! Especially since her last recorded PR for a shoulder press was 55 and her push press was 60. Oh, did I mention that her shoulder to overhead movement was push presses and not push jerks? This proved her 1 rep max is no longer 55 and 60lbs.
