Q. What made you decide to try CrossFit?
A. I decided to try CrossFit so I could train for sports but now it feels like a home.
Q. What is your favorite CrossFit/training moment to date?
A. My favorite moment was when everyone was cheering for me in a workout even though I did not finish in time.
Q. What is your CrossFit/training goal?
A. My goal is to complete 20 proper push-ups straight.
Q. What was your proudest CrossFit/training moment?
A. When I looked back in my journal I saw that I could only deadlift 15 pounds and now I can deadlift 85 pounds.
Q. What was the toughest hurdle when you got started?
A. Running! I could barely run 400 meters when I started but now I can run almost a mile without stopping.
Q. What is the toughest hurdle for you right now?
A. Push-ups, push-ups, and push-ups….
Q. What keeps you going in a workout when you sometimes want to quit?
A. To see others around me not quit.
Q. What is your favorite thing to do outside of training at Arenal Fitness?
A. I LOVE basketball, indoor or outdoors, it doesn’t matter.
Q. What is your favorite part of Arenal Fitness?
A. Meeting new friends…they help you along the way.
Q. Any advice for new members?
A. Never give up. It will seem hard at first but it gets easier.
Q. How has your training program at Arenal Fitness changed your life?
A. As a 12 year old kid, I have learned that you can “still have fun” by exercising.
