I like to think of my CrossFit experience as a journey, because I consider it a never-ending quest to become better, stronger, faster, fitter, and more confident in my abilities. I started this journey in late February 2010 with my first demo workout. After that, I knew I was interested, and signed up for Basics classes. In my first week, I remember asking other CrossFitters how often they come to class, and most were telling me 3 to 4 times a week. I thought they were crazy! But two weeks in, I was hooked, and upgraded to an unlimited membership. By the beginning of 2011, I knew that I wanted to share my incredible experience with others, so I decided it was time to get Level 1 certified. I’m now enjoying the best of both worlds – coaching others and helping them push past their self-imposed limits – while also continuing to learn from my fellow coaches and mentors. CrossFit has changed my life – both mentally and physically – and I love seeing others have the same experience!
