This class is based on the teachings of elite gymnast Carl Paoli. He is currently the largest online resource for gymnastics-movement training and conditioning for CrossFit coaches and athletes.
In your everyday function of life you move your body around all day long. So why not build your strength and learn to move your body more efficiently and effectively to function everyday with greater ease? Basic movements such as air squats, push ups, and pull ups are types of gymnastic movements. It’s not necessarily what you are thinking when you watch gymnastics on tv like the parallel bars, poma horse and vaulting. No need to be intimidated.
In this class you will spend time learning the progressions of a particular gymnastics movement and then do a workout using that movement. GWOD classes are offered every Sunday from 9:30-10:30am.
