WOD – Saturday, 5/22/10

Today’s WOD was to run a 5K, 3.2 miles.

While some people might look at running as something they can just do on their own and not necessarily need a class environment, we look at it as a team event and we need each other to push ourselves maybe just a little bit faster than we would do on our own.  And, some need the motivation to prioritize an endurance cardio event, such as a 5k, in the midst of all of the different kinds of workouts there are out there and what we do here at Arenal Fitness. Plus, after the 5k, we had a strength component, shoulder press 75% of your max, 3 sets of 3 reps. Great job today!!! [gallery]]]>
