The Snatch Balance movement is part of the Burgener Warm-Up we do each time the are Snatch movements. The key to a Snatch is to drive the weight off of the ground through a triple extension of the ankles, knees and hips and then dropping at the peak height of the bar pulling yourself directly under the bar to support the weight and standing to a full extension. Today’s Snatch balance WOD will help you work on dropping under the bar with a heavy weight ending in the overhead squat position.
Then once you are done with the Snatch Balance, it’s a GWOD all the way gearing up for the Gymnastics seminar coming to Arenal Fitness on June 3rd. Sign up now before slots run out.
The KBellers kicked it today as if knees to elbows wasn’t enough, the had the devil of the 6’s staring at them right in their face.
Great job to everyone!!!
