The American Kettlebell Swing is straight up overhead. Your arms should be extended at the bottom and at the top of the movement. When the KB is at shoulder level, retract your shoulders pulling back on the KB giving a slight bend to the elbow in the middle of the movement. Doing this will allow the KBeller to lift a heavier weight with greater ease.
